“Sudraba akadēmija”: zināšanas un prasmes senioru labbūtībai
Projekta mērķis – Uzlabot senioru (65+) dzīves kvalitāti Daugavpilī un Augšdaugavas novadā, veicinot viņu sociālo līdzdalību, pašapziņu un prasmes, nodrošinot pieejamas, kvalitatīvas un daudzveidīgas mūžizglītības iespējas senioru skolā “Sudraba akadēmija”.
Īstenošanas laiks – 01.12.2026. – 31.03.2028.
- Modulis “Senioru digitālā ikdiena” – digitālā pratība Daugavpils valstspilsētas un Augšdaugavas novada senioriem 65+;
- Modulis “Veselības ceļvedis” – veselības pratības teorētiskie un praktiskie jautājumi;
- Radošās rakstīšanas meistarklases “Mana dzīve – mans stāsts” – radošās un mūžizglītības kompetences, sociālās izolētības mazināšana, autobiogrāfisko stāstu apkopošana un publicēšana digitālajā muzejā “Vitamemoriae”;
- Modulis “Pieturas” – Latvijas kultūras kanons, Latgales kultūrvēsture, izbraukuma nodarbības un piederības stiprināšana reģiona kultūrtelpai.
A Guide to Family Safety and Resilience
The aim of the project – to implement a set of public activities to strengthen the safety and resilience of families in the Latgale Planning Region by fostering psychologically and emotionally supportive relationships in families with children through various safety and resilience strategies. The project seeks to create favourable conditions for positive child development and social integration while fostering understanding of human security at the community, regional, and national levels.

Latvian Language Classes for Ukrainian Civilians 2026
Project goal – To provide free Latvian language courses, starting from A1 language proficiency level and based on the initial language proficiency level, for adult Ukrainian civilians, including underage Ukrainian civilians who have completed secondary education in Ukraine, as well as for persons aged sixteen and older who are not enrolled in an educational institution registered in Latvia.

Specific aim of the project - Is to provide cultural orientation courses and activities by involving two Latvian cultural institutions, thereby promoting cooperation between Ukrainian civilians and Latvian society.
The specific objective is to strengthen Ukrainian civilians’ understanding of Latvian history, culture, and society by implementing cultural orientation courses and other socialization and cooperation activities, thus promoting the target group’s integration into Latvian society and cooperation with the host community.
Implementation period – 01.05.2025. - 31.12.2025.

Latvian Language Lessons for Ukrainian Civilians – Children
Project goal - To provide free Latvian language lessons for children of Ukrainian civilians aged 5 to 16, as well as for youth aged 16 to 18 who are registered in the Latvian education system, according to their initial level of Latvian language proficiency.

Shoulder to Shoulder
Project goal – To implement a set of activities that promote the socioeconomic integration of Ukrainian civilians who have arrived in Latvia seeking refuge from Russia’s military aggression. The project aims to provide opportunities for children and young people to learn the Latvian language and to develop entrepreneurial skills among adults, using innovative and educational support tools.

The Power of Involvement
The aim of the project is to implement a set of measures and initiatives that will promote the integration of two strategic target groups of the Society, i.e. third-country nationals residing in Latvia and individuals aged 50+ and seniors, into civil society. This will be achieved by enhancing the civic competences and participation models of both the project implementers and the target groups, thereby strengthening the sustainable development of civil society and democracy in Latvia.
- During the project, the Society’s international dimension will be expanded by establishing cooperation with the societies in Italy and Sweden that use innovative approaches in working with third-country nationals, individuals aged 50+ and seniors, promoting their integration and socialization into civil society.
- A panel discussion titled “From Challenges to Opportunities: Integration of Third-Country Nationals in Latvia” will be organized, where the Society’s perspective on the effective integration of third-country nationals into Latvian society will be presented.
- The networking event organized by the Society will ensure cooperation with other NGOs in Latvia that represent the project’s target audience - individuals of “silver age” and third-country nationals.
- The project will help to maintain and develop the skills cluster cloud tool “MySkills” (https://www.myskills.lv), which aims to promote mutual cooperation and integration of third-country nationals into the Latvian economy, support the development of small businesses in Latvia, and facilitate interaction with the host society – the Latvian population.
Text Lab (TekstLAB)
Text Lab (TekstLAB) is an online platform for learning creative writing, offering courses and consultations in various genres and languages. Its purpose is to promote writing in Latvia and the diaspora, attracting new writers to the cultural space of Latvia. Classes are held remotely and there is no age limit for participants.
