To promote the well-being and welfare of families and to support their integration into socio-economic processes, the society Intellect Park is organizing a series of activities called “Enterprising Families Week” from May 20 to 25.
We invite families living in the municipality of Daugavpils city and Augšdaugava county to participate in educational activities where we will highlight family values, focus on financial literacy, and explore the secrets of entrepreneurship by learning from the stories of small business owners.
PROGRAMME:
May 20, at 18:00 – Conversation club “Successful Online Business – Business ABC” (online, via the ZOOM e-conferencing platform).
May 23, at 18:00 – Financial literacy school for adults & game tournament for children, using money mindset training tools (at Park Hotel Latgola).
May 24, from 10:00 to 13:00 – Family business initiative hackathon, interactive activity for children “Party Time, No Sleep! Let’s Learn How to Plan a Birthday Party” and simulation game for youth “My budget” (at Park Hotel Latgola).
May 25, at 9:00 – Excursion to Latgale entrepreneurs
(only for families who participated in one of the previous events).
Participants are welcome to attend multiple events – we are especially happy to welcome families with children!

The activities of Enterprising Families Week are organized within the framework of the project “Family Well-being Navigator”, No. 2025.LV/GDV/025/L24.
The activities are funded by the European Union and take place within the European Social Fund Plus project “Creating a Family-Friendly Environment and Society”, project number 4.3.6.9/1/24/I/001.
The content of the activities is the responsibility of the Daugavpils University Society for Lifelong Learning, Culture, and Science Communication “Intellect Park”.
