The Daugavpils University Society “Intellect Park” for Lifelong Learning, Culture, and Science Communication announces the creative competition for children and young people “My Family Wallet”.
While creating their works, children and young people are invited to learn about planning their family budget, gain an understanding of income and expenditure, assess their own and their family’s spending habits, and understand the relationship between available resources, the need to make purchases, and the importance of saving.
The creative competition is organised in three age groups:
In their drawings and annotated photo collages, children and young people are invited to depict their family’s and/or their own spending and saving habits.
Competition period: 22 April–11 May 2025.
Award ceremony for the competition winners and exhibition and presentation of the creative works: 24 May 2025.
The authors of the creative works submitted to the competition and their families will be invited to participate in the events of “Enterprising Families Week”, which will take place on 24 May 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the conference hall on the third floor of Park Hotel Latgola, 46 Ģimnāzijas Street, Daugavpils.

The creative competition is organised within the framework of the project “Family Well-being Navigator”, No. 2025.LV/GDV/025/L24.
The event is funded by the European Union and takes place within the European Social Fund Plus project “Creation of a Family-Friendly Environment and Society”, Project No. 4.3.6.9/1/24/I/001.
