We spent two valuable days in Rēzekne at a seminar organised by VIAA, learning about the opportunities offered by Erasmus+ and Nordplus, hearing colleagues from the education sector share their experiences, and gaining new ideas for our future work.
The seminar gave us a better understanding of how international opportunities can support the development of adult education, from learning mobility and exploring practices in other countries to finding new cooperation partners and developing project ideas. We particularly valued the opportunity to hear about the experiences of other institutions and organisations, learning how project ideas become practical activities that benefit people.
The discussions on inclusion were also valuable. Everyone brings their own experience, knowledge and opportunities to learning. It is therefore important to create a learning process in which everyone can find a suitable way to participate and learn something new.
We return from Rēzekne with new ideas, valuable contacts and the conviction that international cooperation can open up even more opportunities for adult education.
Thank you to VIAA for the valuable seminar and to all participants for the inspiring conversations!
