Since May 15, 2024, Daugavpils University Association for Lifelong Learning, Cultural, and Scientific Communication, “Intellect Park”, has been implementing project no. 2024.LV/LVUKR//007/L19 of the state-funded programme “Latvian Language Classes for Ukrainian Civilians” supported by the Society Integration Foundation.
In total, the project plans to implement Latvian language courses for 40 groups. Classes are conducted both in-person and online. Latvian language instruction is offered at levels A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1.
The majority of the target audience comprises participants from previous courses who are continuing their studies and improving their Latvian language proficiency. The project plans for participants who achieve at least the A2 level to apply for the state language proficiency exam organised by the State Education Content Center. The previous experience shows that the students are interested in taking the state language proficiency exam.
“Intellect Park” is one of the leading organisers of Latvian language courses. Our instructors are highly qualified, with extensive experience in language teaching, and many hold master’s or doctoral degrees in philology and pedagogy. Over the past two years, more than 800 Ukrainians have successfully completed our courses!
Project no. 2024.LV/LVUKR//007/L19 of the state-funded programme “Latvian Language Classes for Ukrainian Civilians” is financially supported by the Society Integration Foundation with funds allocated from the Latvian state budget.
