Ukrainian Children Learning the Latvian Language

On May 16, 2025, the first Latvian language class for Ukrainian children was held in a positive and engaging communication environment.
At the end of the class, the children were surprised at how quickly time had flown by. This was likely due to the engaging approach of their teacher, Ilona Bohāne, who led the children through interactive tasks and stimulating educational games.
This class marked a start to a new learning cycle, which will promote the acquisition of the Latvian language using creative teaching methods tailored to the age group of the target audience.
Latvian language classes for Ukrainian children are being implemented within the framework of project No. 2025.LV/LVUKR/2/013/L1.

The event is financially supported by the Society Integration Foundation from the allocated Latvian state budget funds.
