Ukrainian children are learning the Latvian language within the framework of the project “Shoulder to Shoulder”

On April 30, 2025, via the online conference platform ZOOM, 15 Ukrainian civilian children began learning the Latvian language.

The aim of the programme is to provide children with the necessary knowledge of using the Latvian language in everyday situations, thus promoting their successful integration into Latvian society.
The learning content is adapted to the children’s age and needs, ensuring a friendly and supportive environment for language learning online.

The project “Shoulder to Shoulder”, 2024.LV/NVO_UKR/028/L7, is funded by the European Union.
The Daugavpils University Society “Intellect Park” for Lifelong Learning, Culture, and Science Communication is responsible for the content of the project.
