The project “The Opportunity Society. Intercultural Communication Training for Professionals from Various Fields to Strengthen the Framework for the Integration of Third-Country Nationals” has been approved

Daugavpils University Association for Lifelong Learning, Culture, and Science Communication “Intellect Park”, participating in 2021-2027 programming period of the Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund under Activity No. 13.4 “Intercultural Communication Training for Professionals from Various Fields”, has received financial support for the project “The Opportunity Society. Intercultural Communication Training for Professionals from Various Fields to Strengthen the Framework for the Integration of Third-Country Nationals”, Project No. PMIF/13.4./2024/1/01.

Project Title: “The Opportunity Society. Intercultural Communication Training for Professionals from Various Fields to Strengthen the Framework for the Integration of Third-Country Nationals”

General Objective: To promote the implementation of fundamental rights for third-country nationals and their integration into Latvian society by improving access to services and enhancing the quality of those services.

Specific Aim: To foster understanding of constructive dialogue between third-country nationals and Latvian society, and to improve the knowledge of professionals from various fields regarding societal diversity and intercultural communication.

Implementation Period: September 1, 2024 – October 31, 2026

Project Budget: €253,245.46

Funding: Co-financed by the European Union under the Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund (75%) and the Latvian state budget (25%).
